Facebook blamed for growing divorces

Lawyer says 30 cases she handled involved site

London: The social networking website Facebook is being blamed for a growing number of divorces in Britain as married partners are caught cheating online.

A lawyer said how every divorce she had dealt with in the past nine months had involved the social networking website, according to The Sun.

Nowadays, even flirty messages and photos of new lovers after a split are being used by former spouses as "ammunition" in divorce proceedings.

Lawyers are advising couples to stop using Facebook and sites such as Second Life, Illicit Encounters and Friends Reunited until legal proceedings are finalised.

Emma Patel, of Hart Scales and Hodges Solicitors, in Surrey, has dealt with 30 divorces since May, and all involved Facebook.

What effect does Facebook have on relationships? Has it become a way for partners to check up on one another? Should messages and photos be allowed as evidence during divorce proceedngs? Tell us what you think by posting a comment below.

The chemical factory

'Mild' brands

Since September 2003 terms such as 'low-tar', 'light' and 'ultra light' have been banned.

This is because the difference between these brands and regular cigarettes is dependent on the filter alone, which uses microscopic air holes: the 'lighter' the cigarette, the more holes it has for drawing in air that thins and cools the smoke.

However, the thinned smoke contains less nicotine. Smokers can, unwittingly or otherwise, solve the 'problem' of reduced nicotine either by dragging harder on the cigarette or by grasping the filter and blocking the holes.

Research has shown that, contrary to the numbers on the packet, smokers of 'mild' brands are likely to inhale as much tar and nicotine as smokers of regular cigarettes. And because the same blend of tobacco is used, you can take in as many cancer-causing substances.

heart attack

I want to write few words from one of my prev. post: ".......Is kaainat main kub saare sawalon ke jawab milte hain. Koi formula nahi chalta. Kisi mantiq ki chul theek nahi bethti. Hum saari zindagi jaanne ki tag-o-do main lage rehte hain magar saara kuch is dil ke maanne se hai. Agar dil ko qarar aa jaaye to koi maujiza naqabile yaqeen nahi rehta. Kuch bhi namumkin nahi rehta. Falsafa chale na chale magar jo baat, jo cheez is dil ki dharkan ki ley(tune) se murtaish (vibrate) ho jaaye - wahi haq, wahi sach ! Sala ye kambakht dil !!.."

Pain was so severe that night, savage heart
wanted to confront each vein
diaphoresed from each sweat gland

(my heart was)
Like far at your patio
each petal washed in my despondent blood
appear morose with grace of moonlite glow

Like in my deserted body
tents of all aching threads openly
start giving signs serially (of)
farewell of (my) passions' flock

And when appeared somewhere under smoldering lites of remembrance
one last moment of your affection
pain was so intense that (heart) wanted to pass it on

We did want to stay though, heart did not desire so

zaroorat

"Duniya main is se ziyada achhi koi baat nahi ke kisi ko aap ki zaroorat nahi. Kiunke kisi ki zaroorat insaan pe bara bojh daal deti hai - aur insaan ko bara kamzor ker deti hai...... Ye to achha hai ke ab tumhe meri zaroorat nahi"

Zindagi main kuch log aap ko thori der ke liye milte hain magar ta-hayat ghere naqoosh chor jaate hain.

Meri zindagi main bohut hi aese kum mauqe (occasions) aaye honge jub main apni bisat se ziyada roya. aur aj ka din un me sa aik ha.
agay najany aur kitny din aysy ayey gy. jin ka me sochti hu k mujh ma samna karny ki himmat nahi....

Baqol Hazrat Ali: "Badnaseeb hai woh shaks jise dost na mile, aur us se bhi ziyada badnaseeb hai woh shaks jo achhe doston ko kho de" !

Habib Jalib's Mainay Uss Say Yeh Kaha

Become a Lie Detector

How to Detect Lies
Become a Lie Detector

Introduction to Detecting Lies:
The following techniques to telling if someone is lying are often used by police, and security experts. This knowledge is also useful for managers, employers, and for anyone to use in everyday situations where telling the truth from a lie can help prevent you from being a victim of fraud/scams and other deceptions.

Warning: Sometimes Ignorance is bliss; after gaining this knowledge, you may be hurt when it is obvious that someone is lying to you.

Signs of Deception:
Body Language of Lies:
• Physical expression will be limited and stiff, with few arm and hand movements. Hand, arm and leg movement are toward their own body the liar takes up less space.

• A person who is lying to you will avoid making eye contact.

• Hands touching their face, throat & mouth. Touching or scratching the nose or behind their ear. Not likely to touch his chest/heart with an open hand.

Emotional Gestures & Contradiction
• Timing and duration of emotional gestures and emotions are off a normal pace. The display of emotion is delayed, stays longer it would naturally, then stops suddenly.

• Timing is off between emotions gestures/expressions and words. Example: Someone says "I love it!" when receiving a gift, and then smile after making that statement, rather then at the same time the statement is made.

• Gestures/expressions don’t match the verbal statement, such as frowning when saying “I love you.”

• Expressions are limited to mouth movements when someone is faking emotions (like happy, surprised, sad, awe, )instead of the whole face. For example; when someone smiles naturally their whole face is involved: jaw/cheek movement, eyes and forehead push down, etc.

Interactions and Reactions
• A guilty person gets defensive. An innocent person will often go on the offensive.

• A liar is uncomfortable facing his questioner/accuser and may turn his head or body away.

• A liar might unconsciously place objects (book, coffee cup, etc.) between themselves and you.

Verbal Context and Content
• A liar will use your words to make answer a question. When asked, “Did you eat the last cookie?” The liar answers, “No, I did not eat the last cookie.”

•A statement with a contraction is more likely to be truthful: “ I didn't do it” instead of “I did not do it”

• Liars sometimes avoid "lying" by not making direct statements. They imply answers instead of denying something directly.

• The guilty person may speak more than natural, adding unnecessary details to convince you... they are not comfortable with silence or pauses in the conversation.

• A liar may leave out pronouns and speak in a monotonous tone. When a truthful statement is made the pronoun is emphasized as much or more than the rest of the words in a statement.

• Words may be garbled and spoken softly, and syntax and grammar may be off. In other
words, his sentences will likely be muddled rather than emphasized.

Related Books:

Never be Lied to Again

Body Language
Other signs of a lie:
• If you believe someone is lying, then change subject of a conversation quickly, a liar follows along willingly and becomes more relaxed. The guilty wants the subject changed; an innocent person may be confused by the sudden change in topics and will want to back to the previous subject.

• Using humor or sarcasm to avoid a subject.

Final Notes:
Obviously, just because someone exhibits one or more of these signs does not make them a liar. The above behaviors should be compared to a persons base (normal) behavior whenever possible.

Most lie detecting experts agree that a combination of body language and other cues must be used to make an educated guess on whether someone is telling the truth or a lie.

Why mother is so special:

Why mother is so special:

When I came home in the rain,

Brother asked why you didn’t take an umbrella.
Sister advised why you didn’t wait till rain stopped.
Father angrily warned, only after getting cold, you will
realize.

But Mother, while drying my hair, said, stupid rain!
Couldn't it wait,

Till my child came home?

That's MOOOOOOOOM

forgiving and forgetting.

I would like to hear your opinion on forgiving and forgetting. When people hurt you: do you forgive and forget? Or do you just forgive but don’t forget?

People who tend to be seen as good – usually forgive and forget. But I don’t think that this is a question of being good or evil – I think the point is about being just. So maybe the tendency to forgive and forget those that have hurt us is not necessarily a good thing. Because if we don’t do anything to people that hurt us – they will probably continue on hurting others.

This is the way I see it and I would like to hear you about this subject and also your own experiences.
